Justin Rogers founded Bluebird Roofing in 2010 with a clear mission: to bring precision, integrity, and accountability to an industry where those traits are too often missing. But from the start, Justin’s vision wasn’t just about roofing—it was about building a brand centered around one ideal: excellence.

That pursuit drives every system, standard, and person inside the company. Bluebird’s culture is built on three core values: Integrity, Dynamic Excellence, and Relentless Customer Service. Justin leads from the front—engineering processes, sharpening teams, and upholding uncompromising quality across every aspect of the company.

What sets Justin apart isn’t just the roofs he stands behind—it’s the people he builds along the way. At the heart of Bluebird’s success is a culture of self-improvement and extreme ownership.

Justin lives in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, where he’s spent the last 20 years raising his family. He has two sons at home, a daughter in college, and his oldest son works alongside him at Bluebird—continuing the legacy from within.

Lorelei Rogers, daughter of founder Justin Rogers, has been part of the Bluebird story since day one. The company was founded when she was just three years old, and some of her earliest memories include climbing roofs with her dad and tagging along to job sites. That firsthand exposure shaped not just how she sees the company—but how she works within it.

Now a full-time student at Trevecca Nazarene University, Lorelei returns each summer to contribute where it counts—taking on special projects with thoughtfulness, creativity, and quiet determination. She’s sharp, intuitive, and dependable—often figuring things out before needing to ask. Whether she’s organizing internal systems, assisting with operations, or supporting team initiatives, she brings a kind spirit and a steady hand to everything she touches.

Smart, grounded, and a natural cultural fit, Lorelei reflects both the values she was raised with and the next generation of what Bluebird continues to build.

Melissa Merritt

Supplement Manager

Melissa Merritt is the kind of behind-the-scenes grinder every elite team needs. As Supplement Manager, she works tirelessly to make sure Bluebird customers are fully covered—navigating the complex world of insurance with precision, persistence, and care.

Smart, loyal, and quietly relentless, Melissa handles the back-end battles that no one sees—advocating for customers, submitting documentation, and jumping through every hoop the insurance companies throw at her. Her calm, gentle demeanor makes her a pleasure to work with; her work ethic and attention to detail make her indispensable.

Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, Melissa is a devoted wife and proud mother of three. She and her family live in Mount Juliet, where she brings the same loyalty, patience, and focus to her home life that she brings to her work—making sure people are taken care of, no matter what it takes.

And yes—she always laughs at our jokes, which only makes us work harder to earn it.

After years in the music industry, Leigh shifted into construction with the same thoughtful attention to detail and deep care for people. He approaches every interaction with empathy, patience, and a sincerity that customers don’t forget. When Leigh is involved, things feel handled—and they are.

Leigh lives in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, where he’s a devoted father and a proud grandpapi. He brings the same heart, humility, and thoughtfulness to his personal life that he brings to his work—anchoring those around him with presence and purpose.

Aric Hill is the financial steady hand at Bluebird Roofing. As Senior Accountant, he brings sharp analytical insight, tireless focus, and a deep attention to detail to every line item, ledger, and financial report that crosses his desk.

With a creative eye and a genuine spirit, Caleb approaches every shoot with care and clarity. Whether he’s filming a drone flyover, editing client highlights, or producing behind-the-scenes stories of the team at work, he brings emotion, beauty, and professionalism to every frame.

Caleb is kind, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the people around him. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and it shows—in the way he treats his team, in the stories he tells through the lens, and in the pride he takes in honoring the work Bluebird does every day.

As the eldest son of founder Justin Rogers, Caleb has grown up with a front-row seat to the company’s evolution. Now, he plays a key role in how that story gets told.

Hanna Carden

Hanna serves as the Administrative Assistant at Bluebird Roofing. With a strong background in organization, communication, and multitasking, she supports the team by managing daily operations, coordinating customer communication, and ensuring that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and ensuring every detail is handled with care.

Hanna brings a proactive mindset and a solution-oriented approach to everything she does. Whether it’s organizing meetings, assisting with documentation, or helping streamline internal processes, she is always ready to lend a hand and help things move forward. Her ability to adapt quickly and keep multiple moving parts in order makes her an essential part of the team.

Though new to the roofing industry, Hanna brings a proactive mindset, strong administrative background, and a genuine commitment to supporting both clients and coworkers alike.

Jackson Michie

Jackson is the heart and soul of Bluebird Roofing’s residential division. He’s not just a top performer—he’s the cultural engine. With unmatched energy, discipline, and humility, Jackson sets the tone for what leadership looks like in the field: discipline, endurance, and intentionality.

Born and raised in Middle Tennessee and a local Franklin High/University of Tennessee graduate, Jackson embodies the character that this region is known for producing and refuses to make moral compromises. At 6’1″, 230 pounds, he’s built like a linebacker and clocks 6-minute miles every morning at 4 a.m.—without fail. Commitment and consistency are not something that’s talked about, it’s walked out in the way that he lives. Day in and day out, Jackson shows up with intensity, composure, and a standard that raises the bar for everyone around him.

Inside Bluebird, Jackson leads from within and works for the team. The sales division looks to him not only for strategy and execution, but for direction, clarity, and belief. He leads with conviction, serves without ego, and carries a presence that feels equal parts field-general and shepherd. Barrett Pattillo

Whether it’s a stadium, industrial facility, or multi-tenant complex, Dave brings an unmatched command of commercial roofing systems—and the rare ability to earn trust from the first handshake.

A lifelong Middle Tennessean, Dave attended Lipscomb from middle school through college—an experience that shaped both his character and work ethic. At 44, he’s still the strongest, fastest guy on the team—pound for pound, no contest. Built like a horse jockey, wired like a leader, and always smiling, Dave brings a contagious energy that sharpens teams and puts clients at ease. He’s the kind of guy who brightens every room—and elevates every project.

Inside Bluebird, Dave is one of the dawgs. He sets the standard for performance and professionalism, and the team follows his lead not because they have to—but because they believe in how he operates. He simplifies complexity, anticipates problems, and drives projects across the finish line with precision and pride.

Trey Weir brings a unique blend of precision and personality to the Bluebird team as our Lead Commercial Estimator. A proud Nashville native, Trey’s deep roots in the community make him an even bigger asset to our team—and around here, that’s a big deal. With a strong background in both commercial estimating and nonprofit leadership, he pairs technical expertise with a genuine heart for people.

Known as a true numbers’ wiz, Trey can break down complex bids while building strong relationships along the way. Outside of work, he’s all about faith, family, and fresh air. A proud husband and father of three, Trey never meets a stranger and loves spending time outdoors. His mix of professionalism, warmth, and sharp analytical skills make him a core part of what makes Bluebird fly.

Matt Elrod brings a one-of-a-kind blend of charisma, industry know-how, and genuine care to our commercial sales team at Bluebird. A Nashville native with a background as a professional actor—including a role in Ford v Ferrari and a memorable run as a contestant on Survivor—Matt knows how to connect with people in a way that’s both authentic and impactful.

He uses that gift every day to serve commercial and new construction clients with a deep understanding of their needs and a sharp eye for practical solutions. Known for his kindness, active listening, and easygoing nature, Matt has become a favorite among clients and teammates alike. He’s not just great at sales—he’s great with people.

Danny Hollis

Danny Hollis runs production at Bluebird Roofing with the tenacity of a man who flat-out refuses to lose. A Middle Tennessee native and the biggest UT fan you’ll ever meet, Danny brings the same fire to the job site that he brings to Neyland Stadium on game day.

He’s a bulldog—quick with a laugh when the time’s right, but all business when it’s time to deliver. Danny is relentless about execution, quality, and speed. The production team fires on all cylinders because Danny demands it—every job, every time. He doesn’t tolerate excuses—only outcomes.

Danny operates in one gear: full throttle. Whether he’s coordinating crews, solving complex logistics, or chasing down the smallest details before a final walkthrough, he leads with precision and pride. He’s the guy you want running your job when failure isn’t an option.

If it involves metal or roofing, Mike’s done it—and done it well.

What sets Mike apart isn’t just his technical mastery, it’s his calm, steady leadership and attention to detail that ensures every project runs smoothly from start to finish. Whether he’s managing a custom copper roof or coordinating a full-scale commercial job, Mike approaches every challenge with professionalism, clarity, and a deep pride in craftsmanship.

Rodrick Wilson

Rodrick Wilson, from Leesville, Louisiana, has always been naturally encouraging. He keeps spirits lifted and never loses sight of what matters most. As someone who has spent most of his life in church, Rodrick leads with integrity, humility, and a genuine love for people.
