Justin Rogers founded Bluebird Roofing in 2010 with a clear mission: to bring precision, integrity, and accountability to an industry where those traits are too often missing. But from the start, Justin’s vision wasn’t just about roofing—it was about building a brand centered around one ideal: excellence.

That pursuit drives every system, standard, and person inside the company. Bluebird’s culture is built on three core values: Integrity, Dynamic Excellence, and Relentless Customer Service. Justin leads from the front—engineering processes, sharpening teams, and upholding uncompromising quality across every aspect of the company.

What sets Justin apart isn’t just the roofs he stands behind—it’s the people he builds along the way. At the heart of Bluebird’s success is a culture of self-improvement and extreme ownership.

Justin lives in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, where he’s spent the last 20 years raising his family. He has two sons at home, a daughter in college, and his oldest son works alongside him at Bluebird—continuing the legacy from within.

Supplement Manager/RHB

Melissa Merritt is the kind of behind-the-scenes grinder every elite team needs. As Supplement Manager, she works tirelessly to make sure Bluebird customers are fully covered—navigating the complex world of insurance with precision, persistence, and care.

Smart, loyal, and quietly relentless, Melissa handles the back-end battles that no one sees—advocating for customers, submitting documentation, and jumping through every hoop the insurance companies throw at her. Her calm, gentle demeanor makes her a pleasure to work with; her work ethic and attention to detail make her indispensable.

Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, Melissa is a devoted wife and proud mother of three. She and her family live in Mount Juliet, where she brings the same loyalty, patience, and focus to her home life that she brings to her work—making sure people are taken care of, no matter what it takes.

And yes—she always laughs at our jokes, which only makes us work harder to earn it.

Leigh Reynolds is one of the quiet anchors of Bluebird Roofing. With a calm, steady presence and the wisdom that only comes from real experience, Leigh brings depth, grace, and a quiet strength to every aspect of his role—whether he’s assisting customers, supporting internal operations, or simply being a steady hand on a fast-moving team.

After years in the music industry, Leigh shifted into construction with the same thoughtful attention to detail and deep care for people. He approaches every interaction with empathy, patience, and a sincerity that customers don’t forget. When Leigh is involved, things feel handled—and they are.

Leigh lives in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, where he’s a devoted father and a proud grandpapi. He brings the same heart, humility, and thoughtfulness to his personal life that he brings to his work—anchoring those around him with presence and purpose.

When it comes to work ethic and drive, few can match Jesse Gunn—known around here as “Machine Gunn Jesse.” A Nashville native with deep Tennessee roots, Jesse brings relentless energy, focus, and grit to the Bluebird team every single day.

Danny Hollis runs production at Bluebird Roofing with the tenacity of a man who flat-out refuses to lose. A Middle Tennessee native and the biggest UT fan you’ll ever meet, Danny brings the same fire to the job site that he brings to Neyland Stadium on game day.

He’s a bulldog—quick with a laugh when the time’s right, but all business when it’s time to deliver. Danny is relentless about execution, quality, and speed. The production team fires on all cylinders because Danny demands it—every job, every time. He doesn’t tolerate excuses—only outcomes.

Danny operates in one gear: full throttle. Whether he’s coordinating crews, solving complex logistics, or chasing down the smallest details before a final walkthrough, he leads with precision and pride. He’s the guy you want running your job when failure isn’t an option.

Danny isn’t just respected—he’s beloved. His humor, loyalty, and total commitment make him the kind of teammate people rally around and trust without hesitation. He lives in Mount Juliet, Tennessee with his wife. Between their four grown kids, six grandkids, and three dogs, there’s always something keeping them smiling.

Justin Boyd is built for discipline, precision, and follow-through. With a background in law enforcement and a mindset shaped by structure and standards, Justin now brings that same no-nonsense intensity to his role at Bluebird Roofing—where he enforces our internal laws of excellence and craftsmanship.

He handles everything from trade coordination—gutters, guards, and specialty scopes—to production issues and customer-facing concerns that require calm, clarity, and authority. His presence is sharp, his tone is steady, and his expectations are high—and customers love him for it.

Chiseled and composed, Justin has eyes of steel and a heart of gold. He shows up, locks in, and makes sure the job gets done right—without cutting corners and without making noise about it.

Justin and his wife live in Gallatin, Tennessee, where they’re raising the youngest of their five children—four grown and one still at home. He brings the same steady presence to his family life that he brings to the field: strong, dependable, and fully committed.

He doesn’t talk about standards—he lives them. And that’s exactly the kind of leadership Bluebird was built on.

Josh Boyd

Josh Boyd brings a mix of humor, heart, and high standards to the job site. A natural jokester, Josh keeps things light when the moment allows—but when it’s time to work, he’s all in. As a Project Supervisor, he makes sure every detail is executed with precision and that crews meet the level of quality Bluebird is known for.

He’s been with Bluebird for several years, growing into a leadership role through consistency, hard work, and a strong sense of accountability. Josh is the guy who knows how to keep morale high and expectations higher.

Off the clock, Josh is an enthusiastic dad and proud family man. He and his wife live in Donelson, Tennessee with their two children, including their newest addition—a baby who’s already getting used to Dad’s jokes.

He gets the job done right, and makes sure people enjoy doing it along the way.
